Loony Dook
January 2, 2010 | Category: Weddings
Yesterday the family had brunch at Orroco Pier in South Queensferry. The village was mobbed with spectators for the famous Loony Dook and sitting in the Fuschia Restaurant brought back memories of Darren and Evey’s Wedding in August 2008 at Orocco Pier, where I encouraged them to go for a Loony Dook of their own.
I am back at Orocco Pier this June for Laura and Graham’s wedding in June and also back at the beautiful Priory Church for Rachel and Grant’s wedding in April. Darren and Evey held their wedding ceremony in the Priory Church with one of my favourite ministers Terry Harkin.

The images above are a selection of album pages from Darren and Evey’s wedding album. They chose a black matted art album with charcoal mats. Their wedding album can be viewed here while other sample albums can be viewed here
Their wedding day was exceptionally wet and all the formal photographs had to be done indoors. The rain stopped just after the meal and the tide had gone out a wee bit so I suggested a dook! At first their parents though I was joking, though I believe their friends still talk about their wedding dook to this day.
